Man Utd striker Tevez rejects £40M Real Madrid offer

Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has rejected an offer worth £40 million from Real Madrid, it has been revealed.

The Daily Mail says a formal offer for Tevez of £40million from Real Madrid has been rejected by the player. It proves how determined he is to stay in the Barclays Premier League.

Tevez's owner Kia Joorabchian said: "Carlos will decide on his future. Carlos Tevez will decide where Carlos Tevez will play."

The astonishing offer from Madrid — it came direct from the club and is not linked to the presidential elections — would also have included a massive financial package for the Argentina international, who scored for Manchester United at Wigan on Wednesday.

Joorabchian added: "This is not about money, it’s about where Carlos wants to play and his family. To turn down the chance of progressing talks of this nature shows this."
