Man Utd's Van Nistelrooy happy with Madrid, Munich options

Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy wants a move to either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid.

Both European giants have confirmed their interest in the Dutchman in the last 24 hours, though are reluctant to meet United's £15 million asking price.

The Times says Van Nistelrooy, who would relish a move to either club, particularly Madrid, has been unenthused by tentative inquiries from clubs such as SV Hamburg, Valencia and Newcastle United in recent weeks.
