Man Utd No2 Queiroz: We're not raiding Real Madrid

Manchester United have played down reports linking them with Real Madrid striker Michael Owen.

United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz also dismissed suggestion of a swoop for Real Madrid pair Owen and Iker Casillas.

Queiroz, who had an ill-fated stint as Real coach, also ruled out a bid for Luis Figo, who is set to leave the Spanish giants this summer.

"Casillas is not in Manchester's plans, Owen does not interest us either, and there is no Figo negotiation," he said.

Queiroz also denied that Real had made an approach for Cristiano Ronaldo.
