Man Utd, Newcastle, Barcelona watch as Portillo seeks Real Madrid exit

A made scramble could be on for Real Madrid whiz Javier Portillo at the end of the season.

Marca says the youngster is considering taking his contract dispute to a tribunal which would see him become available for a knockdown £2 million.

Barcelona are favourites to land the Spanish U21 ace, who is being chased by presidential candidate Luis Bassatt.

Charlton Athletic have been linked this week, while Premiership giants Manchester United and Newcastle have been following Portillo's progress for over 18 months.

Portillo doesn't enjoy a healthy relationship with Real sports chief Jorge Valdano and his representatives are hawking him to interested clubs ahead of the tribunal hearing.
