Man Utd, Liverpool alerted as Helguera set for Real Madrid talks

A host of Premiership clubs will be keeping tabs on contract talks between Ivan Helguera and Real Madrid next week.

Helguera is off contract in the summer and his agents are due to hold formal negotiations with Real over a new deal next week.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United are all chasing the Spain international, who could leave Real for nothing at the end of this season.
