Man Utd in for Real Madrid target Baraja

Manchester United have been linked with Valencia's prolific midfielder Ruben Baraja.

The Spanish international is also being chased by Real Madrid, who are ready to offer Fernando Morientes plus cash in exchange.

Valencia are ready to listen to offers for Baraja, with trainer Rafa Benitez planning to use money from his transfer fee to strengthen other areas of his team.

Baraja is rated at around £10 million and is the second Valencia star, after goalkeeper Santiago Canizares, to be linked with United in recent weeks.
