Man Utd in advanced talks for Real Madrid's Geremi

Manchester United are already in advanced talks with Real Madrid over midfielder Geremi.

Negotiations for the Cameroon international have been running parallel with talks over David Beckham's £25 million move.

Geremi said: "After Real Madrid, United are the team I'd choose above all others."

"Alex Ferguson has had many good things to say about me and not every footballer can claim that."

United must find £9 million to sign the midfielder.
