Man Utd boss rages at Beckham questions

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson raged at reporters during a media conference yesterday.

At his Friday Press conference the media were warned not to mention David Beckham's future.

But Fraser Dainton of Century 105.4, the club's official station, dared to ask Fergie about his midfielder: "Sir Alex, I suppose you must be sick of all the hype surrounding David Beckham since Wednesday."

Ferguson retorted: "You've been told not to f***ing ask that - right?"

"Cut that off, cut that off (pointing to tape recorder)."

"F***ing idiots, you all are. You do that again and you won't be coming back here."

"You f***ing sell your papers and radio shows on the back of this club."

With that, the radio journalists had to leave.

Dainton said: "I asked what I thought was an innocuous question - unfortunately the manager did not take it that way."

"However, having had a very good working relationship with Alex Ferguson for the past four years, I am glad he is comfortable enough to say what he said."
