Man Utd, Arsenal to offer £10M as Barcelona move for Real Madrid's Portillo

Manchester United and Arsenal are ready to table concrete bids for Real Madrid whiz-kid Javier Portillo.

The 21 year-old has a buyout clause of £10 million and both Premiership clubs are expected to make their offers before the end of the season.

Bayern Munch will also make a similar bid, according to AS.

Portillo's buyout clause will rise to £24 million when he's played two more first team games.

But great rivals Barcelona are also in the frame, with presidential candidate Enric Reyna ready to move for the youngster.

AS says Reyna is convinced he can sign Portillo for just £3 million because of his age and also new transfer laws introduced by the EU and FIFA.

He would even consider taking the deal to the European High Court if Portillo and his representatives agreed to the move.
