Man Utd ace Giggs: I could have been in Beckham's shoes

Ryan Giggs admitted he feared for his future at Manchester United last season.

Inter Milan were chasing the Welsh wizard, who told the Manchester Evening News yesterday: "I've just come back from holiday and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't surprised to hear the club had sold Becks, but it just proves anything can happen in football."

"I've known Becks for years, we became good friends and I'll miss him. But one thing my career at Old Trafford has taught me is you have to look forward."
