Man City keeping tabs on Real Madrid's McManaman

Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan is expected to explore the possibility of bringing Real Madrid midfielder Steve McManaman back to England.

Keegan was again linked with the England international this week after admitting he'd like to strengthen his midfield. McManaman has only a year left on his Real contract.

Talks between players to be made available and new trainer Carlos Queiroz are to open this weekend.
