Man City favourites to land Real Madrid's McManaman

Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan is set to hold further talks with Real Madrid midfielder Steve McManaman.

Keegan is keen to strengthen his midfield and has already held preliminary discussions with McManaman when Real were in Manchester for their Champions League quarter- final against United.

The former Liverpool star has reportedly been eyeing properties in Cheshire, fuelling speculation that he could agree to a link-up with Keegan and close pal Robbie Fowler at City.
