Man City boss confirms interest in Real Madrid's McManaman

Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan has confirmed he is interested in Real Madrid midfielder Steve McManaman.

"He's quality, he is proven and he knows the Premiership and he has already been with a great club," said Keegan.

"We have talked about him, but he's just one of a number of players we have looked at."

"If you ask David Moyes he'd probably say the same thing because he is a good player, and one or two other clubs might want him to."
