Malaga interested in Real Madrid's Morientes

Malaga are interested in Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes.

Club chiefs are convinced that if either Dario Silva or Dely Valdes leave the club at the end of the season, the wages saved can help Malaga sign a top player over the summer.

It's been suggested Malaga will ask Real Madrid about Morientes' availability and could seek a 12-month loan for the Spanish international.
