Makelele Wants To Stay With Real If Possible

Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele says that he'd prefer to stay at the club, despite offers from elsewhere.

The Frenchman has said that he feels undervalued by the Merengues, and has yet to agree a new contract with the club.

"I'm not thinking of leaving at the moment," he said. "But I have many offers on the table and will have to consider them at the end of the campaign."

"No one can predict the future, but I must repeat, my first option is to stay with Madrid."
