Makelele tells Ronaldo: Real Madrid best club in world

Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele has told Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo to grab the chance of joining Real Madrid.

Makelele, who left Real in acrimonious circumstances, told AS: "Certainly I would recommend that he go to Madrid. This is the best club in the world. I miss it, I made many friends there."

The veteran added: "He's clever enough to know what to do. I haven't been following his case closely."
