Make or break for Real in Copa

Boss Vicente Del Bosque is taking no chances and will field his star 11 in tonight's Copa del Rey clash against Gimnástic.

The Madrileno outfit go into tonight's game trailing 1-0 from the first leg in Tarragona, when Del Bosque gave his top boys a welcome rest. That will not be the case for the return leg at The Bernabeu with Real fully expected to call on big guns Luis Figo, Raúl, Roberto Carlos and Zinedine Zidane.

The only absentees from Del Bosque's 'golden eleven' will be Claude Makelele, who took a knock at Tenerife two weeks ago, and Michel Salgado who received a blow to his left leg in training.

Albert Celades will come in for Makelele alongside Iván Helguera, while B team starlet Oscar Miñambres may deputise for Salgado at right-back.

Nástic coach Jaume Bonet is keeping his 11 a secret but is likely to field a similar side to the one that toppled Real in the first leg. Curiously, Nástic were the first team to ever beat Real in their current stadium. The Catalans earned a 3-1 win on January 11, 1948, when the Bernabeu was still known as El Nuevo Charmartín, less than a month after it's inauguration.

Tonight's game kicks-off at 8.30pm.
