Magrao rejects FC Moscow for Real Madrid offer

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo has been encouraged by Magrao's decision to stay with Palmeiras this week.

Luxemburgo nominated Magrao as the ball-winner he wanted to sign this month to stiffen his midfield, but found his intentions thwarted as the Brazilian agreed terms with Russia's FC Moscow.

However, Magrao pulled out of the £5 million move this week to stay with Palmeiras and help their Copa Liberatores campaign.

Its understood Magrao also hopes that Luxemburgo will revive his interest at the end of this season and offer him a move to Madrid.
