Midfielder Thomas Gravesen resumed training Tuesday and should be available for Real Madrid's Spanish league match at Real Sociedad this weekend.
Gravesen sprained his ankle two weeks ago and missed his team's league victories against Levante and Villarreal.
The Danish international's recovery had been reportedly delayed due to his insistence on natural methods to cure the injury. Gravesen is said to reject all medicines which contain chemical additives.
Madrid will be without three suspended players - Zinedine Zidane and defenders Michel Salgado and Walter Samuel for Saturday's game, which it needs to win to maintain a realistic hope of clinching the league title.
Even though Madrid has won its last five matches, it trails Barcelona by six points with five games remaining.
