Madrid Plan To Sell Morientes

According to Spanish daily 'Marca', Real Madrid are planning the sale of striker Fernando Morientes.

The player has excelled on loan at Monaco this season, and is due to return to the Bernabeu this summer.

Although it is thought that he would like to resume his career with the Merengues, the club have other ideas.

His recent goal glut will have increased his market value, and Real plan to cash in on his good form in order to finance other player purchases.
