Madrid Make Late Villa Push

Real Madrid are pressing Valencia into making one final decision about David Villa after making their desire to sign the player known during a round of talks on Sunday.

Los Merengues are desperate to land one more player before the transfer window closes and have stepped up their pursuit of the Spanish international.

An improved offer has been lodged after they saw a €40m bid refused last month and Madrid are not expectantly waiting to to see if los Che will give them the green light.
