Madrid Losing Their Trust In Mijatovic

Sport has reported that the Real Madrid hierarchy are apparently losing their trust and faith in the club’s football director, Predrag Mijatovic.

Barcelona-based daily, Sport, has continued to expose the disarray in the Real Madrid chain of command after revealing that Predrag Mijatovic is skating on thin ice with the club’s supremos.

The newspaper claims that a recent interview that Mijatovic gave to RealMadrid TV, regarding the club’s summer transfer activities, was a pre-recorded piece and not a live broadcast as the producers had initially planned.

This was because the club board wanted to have full control over the content in case Mijatovic may have let slipped any comments that were not politically correct.

It was reported that once the sports director had completed the interview, a copy of the recording was sent directly to the offices of president, Ramón Calderón, where he and his two other advisors, José Angel Sánchez and Miguel Angel Arroyo, carefully studied and analysed every single word that was uttered to ensure nothing unsavoury would make it through to the broadcast.

Mijatovic apparently passed the “test” but if such allegations are true, his spell at the Bernabéu could be on borrowed time.

It is also believed that the only reason he is still at the ‘White House’ is because the club are reluctant to pay off his massive severance package if they choose to get rid of him and the fact that he continually acts as the perfect human shield for Calderón when things turn sour on and off the pitch.
