Madrid looks to pressure stumbling Barcelona

Real Madrid looks to extend its perfect record at the Santiago Bernabeu against Levante and apply pressure on stumbling leader Barcelona in the Spanish league this weekend.

Following a near-perfect start to 2011, Barcelona slipped up with Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat at Arsenal following a draw at Sporting Gijon in the league.

Madrid has won all 19 games at the Bernabeu going into Saturday’s game, where a victory will stretch coach Jose Mourinho’s unbeaten run on home soil to nine years. The last time the former Chelsea and Inter Milan coach failed to take points at his home ground was with FC Porto.

Madrid—which will be without suspended goalkeeper Iker Casillas—is five points behind Barcelona, which plays Athletic Bilbao at the Camp Nou on Sunday.
