Luxemburgo would love Juventus' Emerson at Real Madrid

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo has admitted he'd love to be able to call on Juventus midfield ace Emerson next season.

Brazil international Emerson is a target for Real general manager Arrigo Sacchi, with reports that he is unsettled in Turin after his family home was targeted by vandals earlier this season.

Luxemburgo sees Emerson as the man to fill the void left by Claude Makelele two years ago and admitted: "Emerson is a great player and a great person."
