Luxemburgo trawls through 20-man Real Madrid target list

New Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo has asked for 10 to 15 days to decide over a 20-man shortlist of possible midfield signings.

Luxemburgo was submitted the list by GM Arrigo Sacchi during a lengthy meeting on Monday. An insider told Marca: "We have a list 20 players under consideration, but nothing will be decided until next week."

The list includes players who hold non-EU passports and also some who are Cup-tied from the Champions League.

Everton's Thomas Gravesen and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sebastian Kehl are high on the list. Both players are available to the Champions League this season and also hold European passports.
