Luxemburgo in teary farewell to Real Madrid players

Before his media conference on Thursday, Vanderlei Luxemburgo addressed his former Real Madrid players.
 
Accompanied by GM Arrigo Sacchi and vice-president Emilio Butragueno, Luxemburgo thanked the players for their support during the 11 months of his reign.

The Brazilian also told the group he had no doubt they could lift the championship this season. The highly-charged and emotional speech last for seven minutes.

At the end of the address, each Real player approached Luxemburgo and hugged their former coach. Some, fighting away tears, told Luxemburgo he wasn't at fault for the team's performances this season.

The Brazilian also became teary before leaving the dressing room. Luxemburgo also made sure to thank all club officials he had worked with, the physios, doctors, all the staff before his final media conference.
