Luxemburgo: I knew Ronaldo would score again for Real Madrid

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo insists he always was confident Ronaldo would start scoring again.

The Brazilian struck the equaliser in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Valencia and Luxemburgo said: "I did not have any doubt that he was going to return to score again.

"Ronaldo is the best player in the world and is trying to make things successful for us. I did not have doubts with him because he is working very hard."

Luxemburgo added: "We had two chances at the end to win. One to Celades and one to Ronaldo. But I'm happy with the draw. We knew before the game it was going to be difficult."
