Luxemburgo hopes for another Real Madrid chance

Vanderlei Luxemburgo says he will only consider coaching in Spain again if Real Madrid were to offer him another chance.
 
The sacked Real coach signed a two-year deal with former club Santos this week and said: "I have no resentment towards Real Madrid."

"I hope to see the president (Florentino Perez) in the future. I was not able to speak with him last week, but I want to give him my best."

"Madrid gave me the opportunity to coach for the first time in Europe and to direct the best team in the world."

"It hurts me to leave this team without winning a trophy. It is something unique in my career and hurts a lot."

He added: "If I was to return to Spain, it would be to Madrid. I hate leaving things half finished and I believe I still had work left to do."
