Luxemburgo admits Real Madrid were flagging

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo admits his players are struggling to cope with Liga and Champions League demands after Sunday's shock by Valencia.

"The result wasn't the only bad thing from this game; we also committed too many errors, mainly trying to go too fast after the equaliser.

"In addition, the sendings off of Beckham and Gravesen, together with the injuries of Baptista and Ronaldo complicated things for us.

"I will need to see what I can do. Perhaps I will have to summon some players from the reserves against Deportivo," said Luxemburgo.

"Valencia arrived fresher, because it has had all week to prepare for the game."
