Lugano reveals get-out close for Real Madrid move

Sao Paulo defender Diego Lugano has revealed his contract carries a get-out clause which would smooth any summer switch to Real Madrid.
 
The Uruguay international is a target for Real and told Marca: "I have a contract until 2007 and right at the beginning of season they fixed it to be more helpful to me. I have a clause that allows me to go if I have a superior offer, in others words nothing can block me from going to a bigger club."

"Here they want me, but I know clearly that the great difference is made in Europe."

Lugano qualifies for an Italian passport courtesy of his father and added: "I don't know anything concrete, only what I've read in the papers."

"I'm very proud that such a great club is interested in me. My agent has told me to concentrate on my football and he will let me know about an offer once it is made."
