Liverpool watch as Real Madrid's Guti admits Premiership ambition

Real Madrid midfielder Guti admits he wants a move to the Premiership.
 
Guti was photographed with Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard while on holiday this week and has been linked with the European champs.

Guti told Marca: "I have a contract with Madrid until 2008 but it is true that I hope to start a new period in my career and open the way in another team."

"I also feel I could play in another league."

"There is nothing concrete at the moment, but I have always said that if I left Madrid, I would like to play in England."

"The English league is ideal and I would be willing to go if the move benefited the club (Real Madrid)."
