Liverpool watch as Morientes unsettled at Real Madrid

Fernando Morientes is becoming increasingly unsettled at Real Madrid.

The centre-forward has become frustrated with the lack of first team opportunities he has been granted this season - particularly under new coach Mariano Garcia Remon.

Liverpool are ready to pounce, where their Spanish manager Rafa Benitez can guarantee Morientes regular senior action.

Marca says Morientes is now seriously considering his future and if his circumstances do not change over the next month he will ask for a move when the winter market opens.
