Liverpool legend Rush tells Real Madrid's Owen: Join Man Utd

Liverpool legend Ian Rush is urging Real Madrid striker Michael Owen to join Manchester United.
 
Rush insists Real Madrid ace Owen should ignore the bitter rivalry between United and Liverpool.

And he must not let his Anfield past stop him making the move.

He said: "I had the chance to join United while I was at Juventus."

"Liverpool wanted me back too, so it was an easy decision - but if they didn't I'd have gone to Old Trafford."

"Michael needs to make the right decision for his career."
