Liverpool, Everton watch as Real Madrid push Munitis, Macca out

Real Madrid trainer Carlos Queiroz has identified three players he wants to move on before the start of the season.

Steve McManaman, Pedro Munitis and Julio Caesar are on the outer, with all three unlikely to see much action during the club's preseason.

Real have offered McManaman to several Premiership clubs, but the player's £60,000-a-week wages is proving difficult for interested managers to accommodate.

Munitis was with Racing Santander last season and has also been linked with England over the past year.

Defender Julio Caesar has been away on-loan three times in his Real career and is now in the final year of his contract.

Everton and Manchester City have been linked with McManaman, while Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier is a big fan of Munitis.

Brazilian Julio Caesar could return to Portugal, where Sporting Lisbon are believed to be considering a move.
