Liverpool continue interest for Real Madrid duo Juanfran, Figo

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is seriously considering Real Madrid pair Juanfran and Luis Figo.
 
The Times says Benitez wants four new signings in place before next Wednesday's Champions League transfer deadline.

Villarreal goalkeeper Jose Reina will complete his move tomorrow, while off contract Middlesbrough winger Bolo Zenden is also set to sign on.

Benitez had Juanfran scouted at this month's U20 World Championships, but knows Real Madrid are reluctant to sell the teenager.

Liverpool have also held talks with Figo, but have informed the Portuguese ace that he must drop his £90,000-a-week wage demands for the deal to happen.
