Everton have had a new bid for Real Madrid midfielder Guti turned down.

The Spanish international wants a move away from Real this summer, but Everton's £7 million offer has still fallen short of his club's valuation.

Real's director of football Arrigo Sacchi said: "Guti's value is superior to the latest offer we have received from England."
