Liverpool boss Benitez puts Morientes on-hold

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez says all transfer plans have been put on-hold until after Monday's match against Norwich City.

Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes is expected to move to Anfield this month, but Benitez said: "I know there are a lot of players, a lot of big names being linked with us and we are a big club and expect that."

"But nothing will happen until after the Norwich game on Monday."

"We should have things to report after the Norwich game."

"We are talking with some players, and a lot of agents too."
