Liga Reaction: Roberto Carlos Promises To Show Beckham The Cibeles

Roberto Carlos has claimed he wants to be celebrating another title in 12 months time, with David Beckham.

The Brazilian was delighted as he joined teammates in the parade around the Cibeles after Madrid captured their 29th league championship.

"This has been a superb spectacle," the robust wingback explained. "I expect that this time next year, when David Beckham is with us, we will return."

He then went on to explain how he had told fellow countryman, Ronaldo, about the club's celebrations when they won a title.

"He is loving every minute of this festival," Carlos continued. "I told him that we have one of these every year."
