Levante beat Lleida 1-0 to join Gimnastic Tarragona and Recreativo Huelva, which had already secured places in the top flight next season.
Gimnastic ended with 76 points, one more than Recreativo, which completes the second-division season on Sunday when it meets Hercules. Levante was third with 74.
The promoted teams will replace relegated Alaves, Cadiz and Malaga next season.
Levante's previous promotion came in 2004 and ended a 39-year absence from the first division. The Valencia-based team was relegated a year later.
