Levante rival West Ham for Real Madrid's Portillo

Levante have expressed interest in Real Madrid striker Javier Portillo.

The Segunda Liga club are keen to land a classy forward to spearhead their promotion campaign and made an enquiry for Celtic striker Chris Sutton last week.

Portillo is seeking a loan move away from Real Madrid and apart from Levante, has also received interest from West Ham and Charlton Athletic in England.

Racing Santander have also been in contact with Portillo's advisors in the last 48 hours.
