Italians Lazio are reported to have made an offer for Real Madrid’s Argentinian midfielder Santiago Solari.

The Rome-based outfit, who have been struggling in both Serie A and the Champions League this season, want Solari to give their midfield a much-needed boost.

But Real have made it clear that they will not be selling the 24-year-old star, who looks set to take a more prominent role in the side this season.

It emerged however, that the Spanish club would be willing to offload Brazilian midfielder Savio Bortolini, who like Solari is a natural left-sided player but Lazio are convinced that Solari is the man they want.

Meanwhile, rumours are spreading that Real are looking into signing young right-back, Anthony Reveillhre, currently on the books at Rennes. The French side admitted on their website that Arsenal and Real Madrid have shown an interest in the 21-year-old defender.
