Lazio coach Mancini again in Real Madrid frame

Lazio coach Roberto Mancini is again being linked with Real Madrid.

Real president Florentino Perez has already had contact with Mancini over the past 12 months about the possibility of him coaching the Spanish champs in the future.

But speculation has intensified over the past 48 hours after Real's elimination from the Champions League.

Fearing a shock loss at the presidential elections later in the year, Perez will dump coach Carlos Queiroz and bring in a high-profile name to satisfy voting fans.

Mancini isn't the only Italian coach to be linked to Real, with Juventus coach Marcello Lippi also being considered by an under pressure Perez.
