Lazio approach Real Madrid for Pavon

Lazio have approached Real Madrid for defender Francisco Pavon.

The young centre-half is keen on the move, with Real having signed Walter Samuel and Jon Woodgate over the summer.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has also struck a deal with Parma for stopper Siviglia. Parma have agreed to pay half the player's salary for the new season.
