Laudrup opens door to Real Madrid offer

Michael Laudrup has hinted he's ready to take on the Real Madrid job after leaving Brondby this week.
 
The Danish great rejected a new contract offer from Brondby over the weekend and declared last night: "If an extraordinary offer arrives, a special one, which may arrive only once, I would consider it. I am ready for the next step."

Laudrup previously has stated that he would be taking a year away from the game after fulfilling his Brondby commitments, but is well known to be a favourite of Real presidential candidate Carlos Sainz, the Spanish world rally champ.

Indeed, Sainz has already told Danish media that he's made Laudrup aware of his interest, though is yet to sign the former Real star to his ticket.
