Lassana Diarra Returns To Real Madrid Training

The Frenchman looks as though he will be fit to play against Valladolid this weekend

Lassana Diarra returned to Real Madrid training today after missing yesterday's session with a slight injury.

The Frenchman trained normally alongside his team-mates and looks like he will be fit to face Valladolid this weekend.

Marca reports that Juande Ramos worked with 22 players in the session today as they prepare to return to the Bernabeu this weekend.

The bad news though is that Marcelo, Pepe and Arjen Robben trained in the gym, rather than with the squad, and are a doubt for the match.

The Dutchman looks highly unlikely to return for the game due to an injury to his right leg, and he will be missed by the defending champions.

Pepe is still working on recovering from an injury picked up whilst on international duty and Marcelo has a slight injury to his left leg.

The pair could make the match against Valladolid, but they look doubtful at the moment and might well be given the evening off.

With Barcelona playing on Saturday evening, Madrid could well trail the Catalan side by nine points when they play on Sunday.
