La Liga star discusses phone calls from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte

Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata has quashed talk he could join Chelsea this summer.

Morata scored a hat-trick as Real Madrid battled past Leganes 4-2 on Wednesday night.

The Spain international has hit the goal trail after a difficult season back at the club.

Morata re-signed for Madrid from Juventus for £23million last summer and has found game time tough to come by under Zinedine Zidane.

The Madrid boss has often picked Karim Benzema over Morata this season.

Express Sport understands Chelsea could move for the Madrid star if Diego Costa quits the club this summer.

But Morata claims Blues boss Antonio Conte, who managed Morata at Juventus, must be calling him on an old number if he is serious about bringing him to Stamford Bridge.

"If Conte is continuing to call me then it will be my old mobile phone because nothing has come to me," he said.

"He won't have my new number."

Morata did, however, refuse to rule out a move away from the Bernabeu.

"I cannot think about next season when we have the most important and hardest part of this season in front of us now," he added.
