Kylian Mbappe's Horrendous Show Leaves Real Madrid Fans Fuming: "Leave My Club"
Real Madrid fans have turned their backs on Kylian Mbappe, asking the Frenchman to leave the club because of his inconsistent performances.
If statistics are concerned, Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe has had a decent run at the Spanish club, scoring 63 goals in 73 league matches so far. Yet, the French forward has had to face plenty of criticism. While the exorbitant number of goals Mbappe has scored for Real Madrid looks great on the surface, it is also a fact that he is yet to win a single major title with the club. In fact, Mbappe's style of play has widely been blamed for Real Madrid's inability to win against top opponents, especially in decisive stages.
Seeing Mbappe draw a blank against Villarreal in La Liga on Sunday, Real Madrid fans have turned on the Frenchman, with some even asking him to leave the club. Mbappe, who is the top-earning player at the club, with a reported salary of 600,000 euros per week, was wasteful in front of goal as Los Blancos were handed a 0-1 defeat by Betis.
A few days ago, a report claimed that Mbappe is unhappy at Real Madrid and is looking to leave the club in 2027. It has also been reported that Real Madrid will not stand in the Frenchman's way if he pushes for an exit at the end of the season. Mbappe's next destination could be the Premier League if he really decides to leave the Spanish club.
Real Madrid are placed 4th in the league standings at present, with 6 wins and 2 losses in their first 8 games. In comparison, their arch-rivals Barcelona are unbeaten at the top, winning all of the first 8 matches.
