Patrick Kluivert will not be moving to Real as speculation had suggested, after the player signed a new four-year contract at the Nou Camp.
The extension of Kluivert's contract went through on Wednesday evening, putting an end to months of speculation linking him with moves away from Barca.
Kluivert, has in the past few months being heavily linked with English Premiership side Chelsea as well as Real.
Kluivert's precarious situation has caused much tension at Barca over the past months. The striker was rumoured to have signed a pre-contract agreement with Real, though the player signing the extension at Barca should put paid to all this transfer talk.
The Dutch forward's new deal will see him receive a basic salary of $US 3million, with additional bonuses every time Kluivert appears in the starting line-up.
After signing the contract, Kluivert said: "Everything has been signed and signed over again. I'm very happy, in actual fact both parties are."
