Khedira amazed by Real Madrid unity: Nothing like this in Germany

Sam Khedira is surprised by the team spirit at Real Madrid.

The Germany midfielder admits he's never before experienced the 'togetherness' he enjoys at Real.

"We are more united than when I lived in Germany," said Khedira. "I was so surprised by the number of private events, which forced me to ask if that was normal."

"We often get together to eat. Gago and Marcelo invited us once. The majority of players live outside the city, so we ago there and have a barbecue in the garden."

"One is invited here and there ... Also, every six or eight weeks there is a team dinner. And that involved the entire club, including the bus driver and the cleaning lady."
