Karanka gets a new injury

Aitor Karanka's return to the Real side has been further delayed after the central defender suffered complications with a hamstring injury.

The 26-year-old damaged muscle fibres in his right leg in the league visit to Alaves last month and has been battling to make a return to the side ever since.

But with a comeback seemingly imminent, the player again complained of pains and has been unable to take part in training.

His inclusion against Zaragoza on Sunday is highly doubtful and a return to the side will be put on hold until doctors at the Bernabeu are happy that he is fully recovered.
